I only first 3 DVDs of the crowd, but from what I've seen so far, this has become an excellent documentary. It 'ironic that the economic conditions that led to rise of Hitler here mirror those in the U.S. The fact that so many are willing to give away their civil rights for perceived fears …. But any return to the DVD. Here in the U.S. we only know about some events of World War II (Pearl Harbor attack Normandy, Iwo Jima and Hiroshima), but had lost so many liveseven before we entered the war. This sentence is not a fictionalized version of a war that we use to think this way. It's a war should be seen as a path. As I said, I have observed every 13 DVDs yet, but it is ironic to hear Anglos voice their opposition to the slaves, but most of the participants of the war had settled other non-whites. If a history buff of war or, like me, are former military, this is a well put together.

This film is another great addition to the collection of Elmo DVD that I bought for my two parrots. They love to watch movies and they look like Sesame Street, especially Elmo. They actually speak with him again when he says "hello". I find his voice a bit 'boring after a while', but I think his voice animated with many different sounds that they like. He is also a very lively character with Grover, Kermit, Cookie Monster, Bert and Ernie, the rest of the Sesame Streetpaid. The songs, as always in Sesame Street are cute and funny.

The film lasts 50 minutes, it's nice because many of the movie Sesame Street just a half hour. And once the movie ends and begin to roll on the track, screaming parrots for me, come and put in another movie. So more is better. This is a very pretty story of Cinderella with a lot of liberties with the story are based. The "people" actors, Keri Russell, Kathy Najimy,Caroll Spinney, French Stewart, Oliver Platt do a good job of acting make the film entertaining even for adults. It 'also the interaction with the puppets, all the type of credibility. It seems that the kind of film that children would not be soft (as in human children) to enjoy. And 'colored, has lots of movement and characters with cute voice, to speak to the children involved (or parrots) and get them into the story. I think this is one reason the birds are concernedOn Sesame Street, where they often ignore the cartoons after a while 'and go into another area of his room and play with toys. With this film, they sit on the perch next to the display and actually observed for a long time.

I'm sure this is one of the favorites in the collection and Sesame Street Elmo is adorable, has become as always. Two thumbs up!

Our favorite little red monster is the star of this delightful film that playfully skews the story of Cinderella. Originally aired on Fox television in 1999, the feature is a playful mix of human actors and Sesame Street characters that is an easy watch for families with 3- to 7-year-olds. Cinderelmo (he’s a boy, if you didn’t know) dreams of playing in a castle and meeting the princess (Keri Russell). Unfortunately his mean–but not that mean–stepmother (Kathy Najimy) wants her two other sons to go to the ball at which the princess must declare whom she wishes to marry.

The film is certainly focused on the youngsters (as opposed to the slightly older audience of the Muppet films), but there are plenty of puns and wry humor for adults to enjoy. The handful of songs are quite pleasant, as is the length (50 minutes). Oliver Platt (as a new “fairy godperson”) and French Stewart (as Cinderelmo’s dog-turned-footman) enjoy their roles with relish. Appearing in various small roles are plenty of the Sesame Street gang, including Grover, Kermit, Cookie Monster, Bert, and Ernie. Great fun. –Doug Thomas

I bought this movie seems to last year but is not visible. This year we find to our surprise, a movie is still packed and unguarded. That is precisely these two great actors, with a slip on a skirmish. Little male chauvinism, almost no role confusion! Chock full of surprises, true to our modern times and sweet. Makes us older people the feeling that we still have a chance. Highly recommended viewing Christmas, but why limit yourself in the mood for romance, give this a try!

If the title It Happened One Night hadn’t already been taken for Frank Capra’s romantic comedy classic, it would’ve worked just as well for this holiday charmer. Catherine (Julie Andrews) is a widowed pediatric physician (with no children of her own) and Robert (James Garner) is a contractor with a wife suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. Due to an accident of fate (a winter storm), they end up spending Thanksgiving together in an abandoned cabin, away from their family and friends. The two initially wary strangers soon find they have more in common than either could have anticipated. The subplot concerning Robert’s adult daughters is fairly extraneous (and predictable) but doesn’t distract from the tender relationship at the heart of this made-for-TV movie. Andrews and Garner have worked together before, in The Americanization of Emily and Victor/Victoria, and it shows in the chemistry generated by their sympathetic, believable performances. –Kathleen C. I would not recommend this use for the day, but, as your pores open, and you will find your skin more oily 15 minutes after deleting the excess product. Itopens the pores, it would be very chaotic if you wore make-up on it. Plus go Albolene no SPF, which is important for everyone to wear during the day.

Albolene is also a bargain. I can go a whole year, maybe two large glasses.

The Bob Newhart Show – The Complete Fourth Season Specifications

“If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” was clearly comedian Bob Newhart and company’s motto during the fourth season (1975-76) of The Bob Newhart Show, all 24 episodes of which are preserved in this three-disc set. Even with the show’s ratings dipping somewhat, there’s no shark-jumping going on here; Newhart and producers Jay Tarses and Tom Patchett clearly understood what made this show tick, and notwithstanding a little tinkering, they stuck with it. “It,” of course, largely depended on Newhart himself. A brilliant reactor, he continues to bring his array of deadpan takes and brilliant, understated timing to the part of Chicago psychologist Bob Hartley, who’s surrounded by the usual group of family (primarily Suzanne Pleshette as wife Emily), friends (Peter Bonerz as best bud Jerry Robinson), neighbors (Bill Daily as the tactless Howard Borden), staff (Marcia Wallace is always a riot as receptionist Carol Kester), patients (Jack Riley is the standout as the neurotic Mr. Carlin, but they’re all good), and various guest stars (including Rene Auberjonois, Tom Poston, and Lawrence Pressman). Carol gets married a few episodes in, and Emily is promoted to vice-principal at her school, but these are largely cosmetic changes that do little to alter the series’ overall tone.

Aside from Newhart himself, props are due to the writers. As always, The Bob Newhart Show’s humor is mostly low-key, with none of the raunch, tasteless sexual innuendo, and flamboyant idiocy of today’s sit-coms. What’s more, subjects as serious as death (”The Longest Good-bye” and “Death of a Fruitman”), obesity (”Heavyweights,” in which Bob presides over a workshop for “people of the hefty persuasion”), professional ethics (”Who is Mr. X?”), and jealousy on the job (”A Matter of Vice-Principal”) are broached without ever becoming sententious or heavy-handed. Of course, three decades after the fact, some things will seem a little dated: the clothes are cringe-worthy, and it’s hard to imagine anyone these days getting away with describing Beirut as a place where “everybody looks like Danny Thomas.” Still, Newhart’s show remains one of the best of the several great sit-coms that emerged in the ’70s. Bonus features include commentary (by Newhart and others) on five episodes, a gag reel, and a featurette. –Sam Graham
